You do not have to do all 3,000 steps in one go. I break mine up throughout the day and it works perfectly for a busy schedule like mine. Here is what I do:

  • Take a 10-minute walk first thing in the morning 🕒
  • Walk while taking phone calls 📞
  • Choose stairs over elevators whenever possible 🏃‍♀️
  • Short five-minute movement breaks every hour ⏱️
    These small bursts of movement keep me energized, reduce stress, and help me think clearly. Even as a busy mum, I have found that consistent movement gives me mental clarity and focus for my career tasks and home responsibilities.

💧 HOW I DRINK ONE THIRD OF MY WATER GOAL EARLY

Hydration is a simple habit that makes a huge difference. I keep a one-liter bottle on my desk and aim to drink a third by noon. I tell you, girl, it makes such a difference in my energy levels and mood. I like to add a slice of lemon or a few cucumber pieces to make it refreshing.
Hydrating consistently helps me stay focused, avoid mid-morning crashes, and keep my energy up, and it is something anyone can implement no matter how busy your schedule is.

🍳 HOW I GET MY 30 GRAMS OF PROTEIN

Breakfast is usually where I see people skip or rely on coffee and snacks. I do not. I make sure I get at least 30 grams of protein. Here is what I do:
Greek yogurt with chia seeds and berries 🍓
Two boiled eggs with whole grain toast and avocado 🥑
Smoothie with protein powder, oats, and nut butter 🥤
Cottage cheese with fruit and seeds 🥣
Even on my busiest mornings, a protein shake is my quick solution. That is how I stay energized and focused until lunchtime. Food is fuel, not just a reward, and I practice what I preach with my clients too.
